Survivor: Arabia, also stylized as Survivor: Arabia- The Temple of Temptation, is the thirty-third installment in the Koror ORG Survivor series.
Arabia was seen as an improvement compared to the last season, due to the unpredictability caused by the season's temptations. Despite players sticking to tribal lines during the premerge phase of the game, the merge featured many power shifts and shocking blindsides due to the items played. Many dominant strategists were born in this season, with the winner achieving Koror ORG's first perfect game.
The Temple of Temptation- Each round, a player, chosen by the viewers, will be tempted with a power at the Temple of Temptation. This power will be a benefit to their game, but with it comes a curse, which may affect them, or their fellow tribemates. Once a person has received a temptation, they will not be eligible to be tempted again.
Selfish vs. Selfless- As an added stipulation, the starting tribes were based on how the contestants answered their application regarding the temptation theme. Those who said they would choose temptations that benefited their game only were placed on the "Selfish" Najran tribe, while those who said they would choose temptations that benefited their allies or tribe were placed on the "Selfless" Makkah tribe.
Hidden Immunity Idols - Hidden Immunity Idols will be in play this season. One idol for each tribe will be hidden at the main camp. An idol will be hidden once the tribes merge as well.
No Escape - Players are not allowed to quit the game. They must ask to be voted out by their tribe at the following tribal council if they wish to leave.
This item allowed the user to vote twice at one of the next three tribal councils following their temptation.
G
Taken
The user's vote at their next tribal council would be stolen in order to cast their double vote. (Consequence not initiated due to G's elimination from the game at the tribal she used the item.)
Day 7 (Episode 3)
Necklace of Niceness
This item allowed the user to grant immunity to an ally on their tribe, or the opposing tribe, at one of the three tribals following the round they received the item.
Tate
Taken
The person that was saved by the Necklace would be exiled from their tribe for the following round until the next tribal council had started, missing out on challenges and strategy talk.
Day 10 (Episode 4)
Diamonds of Decision
These items allow the winner to decide the swapped tribes.
Erin
Taken
The user would voluntarily send him or herself to exile, where they would join the losing team after the following tribal council.
Day 13 (Episode 5)
Relic of Revealing
This item allows the user to reveal who voted for who at a tribal council of their choice.
Alex R.
Taken
The user's own voting history would be revealed to the rest of the cast, on top of the tribal they chose to reveal.
Day 15 (Episode 6)
Case of Clues
This item granted a winner from each tribe the remaining idol clues left to find their tribe's idol.
Loren & Hannah
Taken
The winners would not be allowed to participate in the first merge immunity challenge.
Day 17 (Episode 7)
Shield of Safety
This item granted the user secret immunity at the next tribal they attended.
Casey & Alex G.
Taken
The user's tribe would automatically visit tribal council. If both of the winners accepted the temptation, a double tribal council would occur.
Day 23 (Episode 9)
Statue of Stealing
This item gave the user the ability to steal another player's vote at tribal council, and cast a second vote in their place.
Rob
Taken
The user was given a penalty vote at the following tribal council. If the user won immunity at the next challenge, their penalty would carry over until the next tribal council they were not immune at.
Day 26 (Episode 10)
Bottle of Banishment
This item exiled the user from one of the next three tribals following the player's tempting of the item.
Antoine
Taken
The user will be exiled from camp until the next tribal council, missing out on the next challenge as well as not being able to guess for the idol.
Day 29 (Episode 11)
Lamp of Legacy
This item grants the winner a secret immunity at the Final 5 tribal council. If the holder was voted out of the game before the Final 5, they would pass the Lamp to another player to use.
Erin
Taken
The item's intended curse was that the recipient of the Lamp from a voted out player would require the obtainer to receive a penalty vote, but this punishment never went into effect.
Day 31 (Episode 12)
Mask of Multiplying
This item grants the winner a 10% score boost at the Final 6 reward/immunity challenge.
Hannah
Taken
The user will receive a score penalty at the Final 5 reward/immunity challenge.
